We represent the Dega people
All the peoples of Vietnam have suffered terrible human and economic losses brought on by 30 years of war, followed by the imposition of a socialist economy. But it is increasingly evident that we the Dega have lost even more than the others. In addition to our lands, schools, courts, and churches, we are now in danger of entirely losing our culture, the very essence of our existence, as we are systematically denied our traditional ways of life. It remains the inherent responsibility of the world community to preserve and encourage the cultural diversity of the Dega and to protect our essential human rights.
We believe Like the United States of America who profess; "all men are created equal" and "have been given certain inalienable rights"
